Welcome to the 2010 US Youth Championship Regatta website. We hope you find this information useful as you plan your regatta. Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club is located on the edge of one of the world’s greatest cities. If you are flying in you will be picked up at LAX or Long Beach for a ONE way fee of $15.00. The driver will take CASH ONLY from you.
At the end of the regatta you will be picked up at Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club and taken to LAX or Long Beach for the one way fee of $15.00 CASH ONLY to the driver.
Please remember you have only a small window left to change any flight information on the website. After that, you may contact our Transportation Chairman at transportation@cbyc.org.
How will we find you?
We are hoping that you will wear an old regatta T-shirt that will give you away to us.
How will you find us?
You will have a few ways of finding us at the airports:
Long Beach is very small and it will be easy to find one of our members in a blue blazer and white pants/shorts out at the ! baggage claim area. You will then be directed to the van.
LAX however is much larger. Members will be there also in the blue /whites. We will be at baggage claim watching for you and then direct you to the shuttle vans.
The vans are black with LOTUS written on them. We will have a CBYC burgee in the window/or side of the van.
MINORS: You will be pick up at your gates by a CBYC member in their blue blazer and white pants/shorts.
Put the CBYC Transportation Hot Line’s number in your cell phone before you leave home. REMEMBER TO BRING CASH – credit cards are not accepted – to cover the cost of the shuttle from the airport to CBYC. If you have specific questions about transportation, please contact CBYC not US SAILING.
If your flight is delayed, call the CBYC Transportation Hotline at (310) 498-4512 immediately.

If you are using CBYC’s arranged Ground Transportation from LAX or LGB, proceed to the baggage claim area where the CBYC representative will be there to great you and direct you to the transportation pick up.
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, DO NOT ACCEPT RIDES OR TRANSPORTATION AT LAX or LGB that has not been arranged by CBYC.
